*An E175 battery will run a Navy 3 for 3hrs flat out, or a Navy 6 for 1.5hrs flat out. In most if not all applications, whilst the extra power is reassuring to have in case you really need it, you’ll find that half to two thirds power is almost as fast – whilst extending range and run time significantly. The E-Series batteries have in-built BMS systems that allow them to be linked together in parallel to make larger battery banks.
The E-Series batteries are ePropulsion’s latest battery solution for 48V platform. The chemistry is lithium iron phosphate, which is affordable, durable, and safe. Under the same communication protocol and operating voltage, E-Series batteries work with all 48V ePropulsion outboards and pod drives. These high-performance batteries will power any of the outboards or POD motors. The Spirit 1.0 Plus and 1.0 Evo electric outboard motors can be connected to the E Series batteries for longer range use, instead of using the integrated electric outboard battery. Multiple E Series batteries of the same size can be connected in parallel, to increase power output. Each E-Series battery has a different battery management system and cell configuration, hence only the same model can be connected in parallel. Up to 16 x E40 E-Series Batteries can be run in parallel. In addition these batteries can be used for brands of 48v systems including propulsion, home, or commercial solar systems etc.
All ePropulsion batteries are designed for maximum efficiency, performance, and safety. The batteries will discharge themselves and hibernate when not in use to protect themselves, so there is no need for any manual discharging.
